Lylox and HerVé share one idea: cutting writing time with AI. Lylox positions itself as a clinical tool that sits alongside your practice software; HerVé as the practice software itself.

Lylox (lylox.fr) describes itself as “patient follow-up software for independent orthoptists, physiotherapists and speech therapists”, with a dedicated page: “the clinical software designed for independent orthoptists”. Its “about” page presents an independent project started by an orthoptics student, with a prototype in early 2026, AI added in April 2026 and a public launch in May 2026. When we checked, the site’s legal notice did not yet state the publisher’s company name or SIRET number.
The tool is clinically focused: entry of orthoptic measurements (acuity, stereoacuity, deviation angle, near point of convergence, fusional amplitudes, motility), Hess-Weiss coordimetry, automatic AMY coding, progress charts, PDF export and link sharing. AI (Anthropic’s Claude model, with no training on data according to the vendor) is used for voice dictation and for writing reports, the orthoptic assessment, letters to the prescriber and prior-approval requests. Lylox states that it does not transmit claims: “Billing, SESAM-Vitale claim forms and teletransmission remain handled by your usual practice software”; a CSV export to FSE software is available.
On hosting, Lylox states that it is not HDS-certified, uses Supabase (AWS Ireland, European Union) and Vercel, and plans to move to an HDS host once it reaches 50 paying practitioners. The price is €25/month (“VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code”), with no commitment, or €99/month for up to 5 practitioners, with a 14-day trial and a free year for students. Lylox can complement existing billing software; HerVé combines clinical AI with complete practice management, including health insurance billing.
